Airbag light on for 2 minutes after starting

Airbag light on for 2 minutes after starting
I have a '95 90Q and everytime I start the car the airbag light stays on for about 2 minutes then goes off. This has been happening ever since I put in a new ignition switch. I only remove the instrument cluster and the upper footwell panel to get at the ignition switch(i.e. didn't remove the steering wheel). Any ideas?

If your cluster was out of the car long enough the airbag system realizes it lost the connection...
...to the light. It just needs to be reset. You should be fine.
