Anyone done a manual trans conversion on a FWD 80/90?
I'm thinking about doing a manual conversion on my 80 8v/FWD. Other than the fabrication of a new trans mount, any other major set-backs anyone can share? I heard you have to change the throttle body? Why is this other than absense of a detent device? Any advise would be kick ****. LATERS,

Re: Yeah, wait till I get done w/my Audi conversion Riding Mower.
Maybe if everyone would send me for free all the stuff we think is junk on here, I'd have it done. For some reason that never happens. Cheap mufflers, Blang Blang wheels, Seat Belt covers, ZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..... Oh, what, uh.. Sorry about that, just uh, dreaming. LATERS,

Re: Been there.
Yeah, van Gerbig is a savvy lad. I was curious if anyone else had tried it and what they ran into. The 80 pages are great material. Thanks though, LATERS,
