Anyone ever swapped a 4cyl for 5cyl engine in B3?
Contemplating about buying an engine not sure whether to swap for 5cyl or keep existing 4cyl.
Appreciate if someone could confirm if 5cyl bolts up to a b3 chassis and what will need to be changed if I would go ahead with the swap.

Well, in looking for a replacement 5 speed for my 5 cyl. B3 (90), I found that my particular trans. (code ALP) was found in both 4 and 5 cyl. cars.
However, between the 4 and 5 bangers, I suspect the clutch is different, as well as motor mounts, springs, fuel injection, and all the other ancillary engine systems.
Anything's possible though...
