Anyone have pictures of an AAN in a CQ or 90 please post.

My 3b had a small fitment issue between the radiator and the power steering pump.

I had to fabricate a mount for it, but it still touches. New lines would fix the problem, but I'm not worried about it. I don't know about the AAN though.
The picture is from a post a few days old. Looking at the location of the throttle body and the intercooler->TB piping, you would have some major fitment issues there. Even if you rerouted the hose, it would not work right due to heat from the radiator warming the TB and hose. This wouuld render an Intercooler useless. Maybe Jimmy Pribble has a salution. He's putting an AAN into his CQ.

Three solutions as I see it...

1. You will need to angle the radiator like the factory did with the Sport Quattro shown above. I have only personally seen one other AAN conversion (into an UrQ) and that is what he did. Requires custom bracket fabrication and might cause other conflicts, but it can be done, probably without a great deal of difficulty. If you want to pursue this, I can ask my friend about his BTDT.
2. You can go to a front mount rad., like in the AAN/UrQ photo that BigMouse posted. I don't like this idea. You really want the front for your massive intercooler and maybe a bigger oil cooler. World Champion UrQs, Sport Quattros, RS2s all use the side-saddle rads. Factory usually knows best.
3. Scrap the intake and go to a 3B/ABY/ADU intake. It's expensive, but everything fits without (much?) custom modifications. This is what I am doing. I got my intake parts last week, so I should have a report about their fitment on my AAN within a week or two.
HTH,
