Re: Audi_80
Nah you can keep the shift rod, it was just an example. No one is cheating anyone purposely.
Funny how the Billzcat1 setup didn't work, the Ubergnugen unit is the same kit essentially, all the main parts are 100% the same. Though if you installed the kit into your new car it may he that your old car was the problem and not the shift kit.
Cheers,

Don't bring this up again please...
and the Billzcat1 kit was installed in a different car, which even with a new shift rod I sent would still not engage first, IIRC. I suspect an issue with the vehicle and not the kit.
They are the exact same kit, Ubernugen gets rid of a spring with a solid piece which neither kit is superior for one on the 5 speed, BUT on the 6 speed the spring is essential as the lockout remains and requires the spring or you cannot engage reverse. The Ubernugen kit has a trimmed plate, the Billzcat even untrimmed will install in the same manner. The Ubernugen kit has screws into the shift cup to keep it from sliding downwards. I have yet to have a Billzcat setup come back with this issue so it's a moot point IMO.
Both kits are identical in my eyes, neither is better, though I have done business with Richard for some time and he has always been helpful and quick, so I will continue to do so.
This topic doesn't need to come up repeatedly.

This is all in good fun, but seriously, DROP THIS SUBJECT. You keep dragging it back out, it's already dead, you don't need to beat on it any more.
