Hey, great job on the Coupe! I was just wondering (assumeing that you were covered by insurance) how much more did you have to pay to upgrade to RS/S2 components? Or if you were not covered by insurance how much was it total? If you dont mind me asking . . . .

Still kinda scared to go over final bill... but...
I had an insurance check for almost $4000 (before $500 deductible)... I have yet to parse out the bill to stuff related just to conversion vs. stuff related to fixing accident damage. I also got sick of ordering parts myself (and ran out of free time 'cause I'm in grad school) and had the body shop order me several full price new parts, including the B4 hood and all the hardware. If I had all the free time in the world, and much more patience, I could've broken even, or maybe come out ahead. But as it stands, I think I'm somewhere in the $1000 range. Not sure though....

Think about it as Xmas gift to yourself..Everthing turned out great..
I had a claim bck then on another car, insurance never gave me the check. They sent it directly to the body shop and the shop won't order a nicer newer model stock bumper.
