Black interior deserves Window Tinting?
My '90 Coupe has a black interior. I am thinking I will have tinted film applied to the windows to reduce the heat gain from the high altitude Colorado sun. Any opinions/experiences?

I went with sheepskin seat covers in the front to avoid peeling the skin off the backs of my legs
"Cool in summer, warm in winter"
If you're not allowed to tint your windscreen and front windows, that may be your best option - don't knwo what the CO laws are, but in CA I don't think you're allowed to tint thr front three windows.

They're great
I got grey ones, so they match the interior. My girlfriend thinks they're kinda cheesy, but I'm sure she'll change her mind once summer rolls around again.
They are really soft, and are infinitely better than the bare leather against skin - park a car with black leather in NorCal over summer, and the seats are unbearably hot. I tend to wear shorts all the way through summer and winter, and they're a lot better in winter too, but they do slow down the seat heaters a bit - it takes longer for the warmth to get through.
They other advantage in summer is that they abosrb sweat, so you don't end up all wet and nasty if your air-con isn't cold enough.

My 90's tinted with a black interior.

The stuff I have has a certain amount of titanuim in it to reflect the suns radiation. But in the heat of summer the interior still get blazing hot!
So I bought a white car cover, which does wonders to keep the temps down. Plus a front fold-able window shade, and 2 foldable side window shades. Made from the same stuff found on private airplanes. Looks like bubble wrap, with tin-foil on both sides.
All the above work pretty good to keep the temps down in summer! ;O)

I have a sunshade too, it's worth it
I'm looking at getting a car cover too, mainly because of the amount of dust and crap.
THe windscreen refelctors are great. Don't get the ones that go outside though, I locked my finger in my car door once doing that. I wouldn't recommend the experience.
