i just pulled the fan motor out from behind the glovebox. the motor came out separately from the actual fan. is the fan supposed to be physically attached to the motor? i can't see how the motor actually spins the fan. is there some kind of magnetic connection? or is it broken? can anyone help?

It must be broken, because mine came out in one piece.

no, it was pretty easy to take out. i just removed the glove box (5 min) and the fan assembly is right there. another 5 to 10 and it was out. i did need to pull the dash out slightly to get my socket wrench in there, but that was no big deal. so anyone know where i can obtain a new blower motor and fan assembly for a reasonable price???
