board computer problem on S2
today the two small buttons on the wiper stick for the board computer on my S2 went into semi-working mode.
It takes like 10-15 pushes to get the thing to change in the display, and sometimes you can just push the bottons all you like and nothing happens.
all the functions of the computer is ok, so its a problem with the switch or wiper stick.
anyone else have experience with this?
fixable or buy a buy a new?
assume that this will be the same part no. in all type 89 cars, regardless of engine.

try blowing the switch with compressed air and/or
remove the whole stick from the car and soak it in isopropyl alcohol...somethimes switched get dusty and don't make a good connection.
