Brake booster

When i hit the brake pedal there is a hissing noise and it idles lower than normal. Brake booster or vacuum leak?

brake booster causing a vacuum leak.

Look at the check valve feeding the booster. If it's not "checking" you could be pumping air into

manifold causing a the wierd idle.
