brake light
every time i start my car the brake warning light comes on for a few seconds during which the brakes don't work well, and recently i've noticed that when i reach high rpms (4000-5000), the brake light will come on and flicker, what's causing this?

Mine has done something similar.
My brake light warning came on for a couple of days after I replaced my starter, but it has not come back on again.

General thoughts. Might help...
Have you checked the fluid level? Might be low, or high. Do you have ABS?
I had a Nissan Truck that did the same thing, I bled the brakes and the light went out. There was air in the system.
Also, check the vacuum hoses going to the booster. I believe the manifold vacuum drops once the engine gets going. I might have it backwards though. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Anyway, something to check.
