Brake Rotor / Pad Question (ATE)

I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on the ATE slotted rotors (front) and their replacement rotors for the rear. I had them on my GTI, but sold the car very shortly thereafter so couldn't formulate a true opinion. Additionally, any suggestions for brake pads . . . I don't plan participating in much more than the occasional auto-x.

they work, my slotted only works in heavy rain or snow

or else regular rotors work fine

I like mine

They're only a few thousand miles old, but I like them. I used Pagid pads front and back with the ATE's. Good performance. No noise. MUCH less dust than OE.
