Cab gone. . . sold, not crashed
Sadly, I sold my '96 Cabrio last week. I had a pang of sadness as the new owner drove it off, top-down.

I have some 16" Borbet Type B wheels that I'm getting rid of. Email me for details.

Re: Oh man I feel your sadness. Was it a necessary sale like Azeems?
Well, not really. Just one of convenience. We have two children now, and it's a bit inconvenient to have only one car that easily transports the family. While two car seats fit in the back seat of the Cab, it was tight, especially in seat travel. I liked my seat all the way back.
The other issue is our A6 QW has almost 91k miles on it, and the Cab had 114K. I bought my first new (as in brand new) car in almost eleven years.
Sad, but convertibles don't seem to last in my household. I traded my last one (a Saab)for a new car after about 18 months, and I had the Cab for 13 months.
Maybe when I can finally swing a 911 Cabrio I'll hold onto it! :-)
