check your negative lead!
when I replaced my battery recently I finally had a chance to clean up the battery tray (no rust but film and dirt) and I noticed my neg cable where it mounts to the frame was coated with a nice lime green powder. I removed it and took my dremel with a fine sanding wheel till it was bright copper again, then wirewheeled the mount on the frame.
car starts even better now thanks to a good connection.
It never hurts to clean up the contact points.

mostly I was suprised it was that bad....
It apparently has never been taken off or cleaned in 11 years so after a good brush up back to like new I'll look at it in another 10 or so.
its been said many times alot of gremlins come from bad connections and its pretty much true so it never hurts to clean up when you have access to it.
