code 2312 - coolant temp sensor.... is this the top or bottom sensor on the coolant neck?

um.. you have two sensors on your what?
i'm pretty sure their is only one coolant temp sensor on your car. that would be the one behind the engine, down on that black metal pipe. the other coolant sensor , is your coolant amt. sensor, which is underneath your expansion tank. ** i could be wrong, but just my thoughts.

I assume 2-wire is dash gauge, 3-wire is sensor for ECU.... but wanted to know if
but I wanted to know if anyone could confirm that the ecu code is telling me the 3-wire is the culprit, or the 2-wire.
