Cooling fan constantly running on 1990 CQ
Anybody out there run into this? I've recently had a New radiator, bypassed the secondary radiator, new fanswitch, waterpump.

Is your heat on in the car? Mine will do this if I turn the heat on. Once I turn it off the engine fan shuts down and only starts when it needs cooling.

I'll give that a shot, thanks. That can't be normal, can it? I always thought the fanswitch ran autonomously from the other systems.

most likely bad temp sensor. new sensor, problem solved.
Mine has the same problem, runs a little too long sometimes. Hasn't gotten to the point where I need to replace it yet.
Most like there is some duct tape on the damn sensor from the PO. bastage.
