Default could it be a fun lil project car, or just a horrible nightmare of a time?

Just wondering... you think a non running 1995 90s Q (at least I think it's an s don't know how to tell) 5speed 140 or 150 k miles is worth $400? I'm just going to bet now that when I look at it tomorrow, I will find a busted timing belt... still, I am convincing myself that it could be a good little project car, hell even if I give up, I could part it out on AW.

body looks good, as well as interior (was a female driver)

For $400...Sounds like it would be a good starting point for a motor swap.

Default Sounds like a steal.

I hope you the best of luck. If you pass it up you should pass the info onto the boards so someone else local can snag it for that good of a deal.

Default trade in at the dealership I work at (me only price...) wholesale/auction if I don't get it

and you know that they would profit greatly from it still... unless I nab it. left note on car mover's (auctioneer guy) desk... but he kinda just chuckled last time I mentioned that I want a cheap stick to practice on... now I'm looking at a car that doesn't even run... I hope he takes me seriously. (Going tommorrow on day off to look at it more closely)

Default which reminds me, what tools do I need to bring to peek at timing belt?

hmm... search is hinting at the notion that there really isn't a quick peek way to look on 2.8's although some 1.8 posts mention just prying back the cover a lil bit...

Default welp I just gotta nuther 4 rings!

130K miles, I bought it today, $225 bucks(plus the towing to my parents house) Timing belt looks ok (the quick peek didn't reveal all that much... but from what I heard, its only a starter/solenoid (sp) problem...
even so can you say Project car!!!
