cv boot
#2
I've done all 4! ;O)
Changed'm several times on my Coupe, and several other Audi's! ;O)
Fairly simple, but can be messy.
Its a good idea to inspect all 4, especially the other side, outer, as CV boots always seem to go in pairs! ;O)
This link will give you an idea of whats involved-<ul><li><a href="https://www.audiworld.com/tech/misc27.shtml">https://www.audiworld.com/tech/misc27.shtml</a</li></ul>

Re: yup. easy but can be a mess
check the tech form if you want to know how! and see the grease
you dont need to take off the axel if replacing only the outer cv joint on your car. It is the same as mine and you should look for a 30-60minute job, if you study beforehand that is.
