Default Does anybody know either the flow rate or the Bosch part number (m)

for the fuel injectors in the 12V engine (specifically the A4 in my case)

The injectors I have are Audi Part Number: 078 133 551 N, but I haven't been able to figure out the Bosch Part Number (need this in order to look up the flow rate).

Thanks,
Scott

Default Thanks...stupid question though...

It's easy enough to get to the injectors, and it looks very easy to remove one, but do i need to do anything special before removing?

Thanks,
Scott

Default Re: Thanks........

Clean any dirt from around the injector seat, so it doesnt fall down the intake when the injector is removed.

Also be aware a good amount fuel will leak out from the manifold once the injector is removed. You might want to bleed the residual fuel pressure off at the connection nut, near the pressure reg before removing the injectors.

I normally remove the entire fuel rail, with the injectors attached, then remove the individual injectors from the rail. Their held on good by their sealing washers.
