Does anyone else find this weird

Can I be wrong? Look at this pic snagged from Audifans.com Marketplace.<ul><li><a href="http://www.audifans.com/marketplace/show.php?table=pm_audifans_Parts&id=785">audif ans marketplace link</a></li></ul>

what? really?
I'm assuming its accepted and understood there. But I don't understand that its commonly used. I mean I know plenty of Brit's that think the US sytem is ****e. They bloody curse it. I don't know just doesn't make sense.

The EU is trying to drag the UK (kicking and screaming) into the metric world.
Pretty much the entire world has gone metric, except for the US. In the UK, most weights and measures have gone metric, but they still like to use Miles and MPH. I understand that most of their petrol bowsers are being converted to litres too, which anyoys some of the luddites.
Here in Australia we went though the change back in 1973. I remember as a kid being a little confused by it all, but everyone soon got the hang of it as the beauty of the metric system is that it's so simple. As humans we have 10 fingers, hence we normally use the 10 base counting system in day to day life.
For instance, from memory there are 12 inches in a foot, 3 feet in a yard, and I can't remember how many yards in a mile. Nearly 2000 I guess. I have no idea about ounces, pints, quarts and gallons. Too many changes in the base numbering system to keep up.
With the metric system, there are, 1000 millimetres in a metre, and 1000 metres in a kilometre. 1000 millilitres to a litre. 1000 grames to a kilogram, 1000 kilograms to metric tonne. Once you know that milli = 1/1000, kilo = 1000 and Mega = 1000000, you're good to go. Easy.
Viva la System Internationale.

They have different system from metric and US....
it is actually similar to US, same words, phrases, but measurements themself are different. That is maybe why they say US is "****e" coz they would think its same as theirs but its not. To me, both are weird, metric rules! Why? Ask all the scientists!

True that...I lived here in US for almost 5 years and still get confused sometimes
I actually still don't know off top of my head how many ounzes in a pound or even what is a pint, 2 quarts? Its messed up, kinda stupid. its also not accurate enough, when they say someone is 6'1", is that 182.5cm, next guy up is 6'2", that would 185cm, so if you are 183 or 184 where are you at? Oh well
