Drilling the rotors and hubs to change to 5 bolt wheel pattern???
I would like a 5 bolt wheel pattern on my Cab'.
Can the rotors and hubs be drilled to change the bolt pattern?? I had this done on a Dodge once and it worked out great.
My brother has a beautiful set of 18 inch rims that he wants to sell and I could get a family discount, but they don't fit my car.
The wheels were on a 2001 1.8T Jetta.
If the bolt pattern on my car could be changed to accept these wheels, is the back spacing the same? 'Cause if they wouldn't work I'd like to know before I get into this.
Thanks

I duno if I would drill something like that, you'd have 9 holes in it then. I know the conversion
can be done I think with stuff from older cars like the 200 and 5k but the axles are a different size and I think the wheels are a different size than the newer Audi's although both are 5 lug.
So I guess to do it the right way would be a PITA.
