Engine Overheating
Hi...
I have this strange problem with engine runing hot. When driving on open roan temp is about 80 to 90C.. But as soon as I get in town it starting going up to 100C plus. When car not moving or going up the hill it starts hitting. It gets very hot and then drops to 90 for a minute and then again jumps to + 100C.
I have replaced: a year a go a water pump, new temp switch, termostat. Cant figure out what might be a problem. I shorted temp swith connectors and fans do work in bought speeds.
Audi B4.. 1994 2.0E 16v quatro

It heats on low RPM
This some driving this weekend.. And it looks like that heats goes up on low RPM. If engine is at high RPM (3000) temperature is ok. Anything lower and in 30 seconds engine heats up..
I did replace water pump about 2 years a go. This temperature thing has been going on for 3 moths now. Could it be a water pump again?
