Finally found a deck to match the car! Woohoo!
The tape deck days are over my friends, finally found a deck I'm happy with. It's a Blaupunkt KIEL-CD35. It looks like it'll fit right in, with an amber back light and just the general look of it. Good deal too, heck of a lot better than going out to bestbuy and spending $150 - $200 on a deck that isn't going to look right anyways.

Re: Won't the FM radio frequencies not work since it's a european model?
Hmm... I've never heard anything about that before.
Isn't FM just FM? It's the same tech.

IIRC, europe uses a different interval for their FM frequencies...
...that being said, I could be totally wrong, I just remember reading about it.
Regardless, nice pick.

I've got a Euro Grundig SCD3490-RDS
The FM interval on it is .05 MHz rather than the .2 MHz on the states radios. The FM range is nearly the same as on the US band, I can check to be sure if anyone needs me to, but I haven't had any issues not picking up something I wanted to listen to.
The AM option scans US AM frequencies either 5kHz or 10 kHz at a time and also scans some short and medium wave stations. When the world series was going on, I was scanning AM to try to pick it up and ended up getting a couple of spanish and german radio broadcasts on the short wave range.
HTH!
