mocked up here, still have to pull it back out for the clutch and flywheel install. Just couldn't leave it hanging from the hoist or it'd be laying on it's side in a few days.

This was great motivation for me to see. This project has been taking me forever, but soon!

I also managed to get the wheel bearings swapped and I'm ready to install the porsche brakes and 5 bolt hubs now!
Steam is building!

Default Got the same mounts in the rally car... currently 10v, but soon to be 20vt...

They're great!

Whats your plan for intake? Modify the intake, 034 intake, or just really tilt the rad?

Default still trying to decide... There's a lot to engineer here

the radiator, the intercooler, the intake, the bumper, ...
Been considering an RS2 intake, because I'll feel like a poser if I put RS2 badges on it and don't have anything "Porsche" except the brakes...
It's kinda silly, but I like that the look of that badge so much that I bought a new front grill badge, and I plan to buy the RS2 script for the rear as well.
It still feels a little poseur(hehe), but this way people will ask 'What's an RS2, I've never heard of it!?', at which point I'll tell the tales of lore from a land far far away... or somethin

Another random thing I was thinking about was the fact that the AAN intake orientation removes the "U" bend in the intake plumbing... I thought this may be more efficient than the 3B / RS2 plumbing..

Default Definitely. Not bad at all.

They will shake a tad more, but it's hard to compare to worn out OE ones. With oe mounts (aka, my street car) I can shake the engine by hand. With these, I can't move the engine by hand. Minimal movement when revving the engine, but definitely not a solid connection.

It tended to shake the rally beater a bit because of the lack of interior... more nose than anything.

Default AAN is definitely more efficient with intake tract...

there are a few people who've sliced apart their AAN intakes and rewelded them to locate the throttle further forward. Thats my plan.
