Default Good brake prices for a 1995 Audi 90 Quattro???

Hey,
I'm looking to replace all 4 rotors and sets of brake pads. Here's the two options I've come up with so far, both from autopartswarehouse.com:

Zimmerman Plain rotors front and back, with EBC UltimaxSeries pads $243.90

EBC Crossdrilled and Slotted rotors front and back, with EBC UltimaxSeries pads $329.30

Do you think it's worth it to go with the crossdrilled and slotted rotors, it's $85.40 more. Or, are there any other combinations that are better for the money, or just all around cheaper?

Also, what are the stock sizes of the rotors, front and back, on a 1995 Audi 90 Quattro? Auto Parts Warehouse was a little confusing about all that, and I dont want to rely on them alone anyways.

-Randy Shapiro

PS- what other harware do you recomend I change when doing the rotors and pads?

Default Unless you are doing it for looks, just go with OEM rotors, you'll save a bunch...

...good pads are worth it though. For the simple fact they (hopefully) won't dust as bad as OE...

But since your signature says "daily driver" (and I'm assuming you don't track it), I wouldn't spend more than you need to if you just need new brakes.

You might want to check other Audi parts sources online...and not just rely autopartswarehouse.com - you might be able to find better prices. It's worth the time to shop around/search the common parts sites.

What do you use your car for? Save your money unless you drive hard, drilled/slotted is unnecessary.

Default Do all the '95 90 Quattro's have the wear sensors in the front pads?

and does the dual-piston calipers make a difference when buying pads? all of these cars had the same calipers, right?

Default No B4s in the US/Canada use the wear sensors, you clip the leads off...

...and all have the G60, dual piston front calipers...

Default From what I've heard, these G60 dual piston front calipers are pretty hardy

mine are looking pretty ragged, but I live in Ohio, it's expected. They should clean up pretty good with a wire brush, just to free some of the corrosion. Any recomendations on what to use to lube the slides?

Default Yes...................

Nickel Anti-Seize:

Putting Nickel Anti-Seize inside the rotor before I put it on the hub will prevent it from rusting to the hub, which just occurred on the Brakes forum by JXR on his 8-10-2006 post:

Anti-Seize goes on the back of each pad:
