Default half empty? Half fu;;

Just to upsate you guys.. Remember that I had this noise coming from the bottom of the engine? My mechanic figured it out to be the con-rod bearing. Ouch!!! He changed them but its to no avail. I need a NEW engine. UUUUGGGGHHHHHHH. Just be thankful that is not you guys and smile throught the day ehile you drive.

Default Ok, I'll post this again, if you have a 10v, check the vacuum pump rod!

Did your mechanic find a bad bearing? I went through this exact same thing on my beater only to have the noise return with the new bearings in. Pulled the rod out of the vacuum pump and it's all fixed. Took 5 min.
