a mysterious speaker deposit in the rear, under the taillight area, it has since been removed.

Please, someone tell me the pink stuff is not supposed to be in there, ( I don't think audi would use Pink Panther soundproofing) I really want to get rid of it! LOL

People do some weird stereo system mods to these cars...
When I got my 80 someone had totally re wired all of the oem speakers with a heavier gauge speaker wire but nothing worked. What were they thinking?!?!

so masking tape is not a typical audio install part? ;)
because I found some of that in there as well as some wire mesh, and copious amounts of the fantastic pink stuff. I'm really suprised none of that stuff caught on fire!
