Miktip you should take no offense to this....but why does everyone specifically ask you questions? the point of a forum, is to post so other people can anwser. Does everyone think Miktip is the only one that knows all the anwsers? If its specific to his 90 i can understand. But it just bothers me to see this day in and day out...i just had to say something.

From what I can tell, people want an answer, "now"!

They find someone who "knows" the answer for which they seek, and will track this person down, simply because that person "knows" the answer.

I've attempted here in the past, to have people not address me by name. It only works for a short period of time.

People email me at home with Audi questions!

People email me at work with Audi questions!

I get calls on my cell phone about Audi's!

So you see, its not just here at Audi World.

Its spilled over into my personal life too!

I have people phone my house looking for Audi parts or service!

I have people show up at my door wanting to know if I can fix their Audi's!

I've had several folks from Germany show up, requesting parts!

Whats a brother to do?

Quit? Give up?

Its easy to "turn-off" AudiWorld! All I have to do is "fade away" and not answer any more posts.
Audi World would carry on fine, without me.

But, all the other things I mentioned above would still take place. Unless I move, change my numbers & email address! )

What should I do? I'm open to suggestion........

Miktip: Anybody who does a complete transmission changeover (auto to manual), provides a running dialog and has detailed pictures too boot can only get the highest respect from other Audi owners and be sought out for answers for the most mundane and the most obscure questions about their cars. You shouldn't be surprised Miktip at the attention you get or the amount of people who seek your advice. You are like the swami at the top of the mount who is sought out from far and wide for answers to the meaning of life. I guess you 'll have to get use to it.
As for rice rides scarcastic sounding post, just look to the sig,..... rice ride? What the hell is that?
