There's only one screw holding the speakers in, its a phillips head. Then you just have to "wiggle" the speaker out. I replaced the factory 4" (er, 4metric, whatever) with 3.5" coaxial. Much less muddy sounding (never realize it until you listen to them side to side), and much easier fit.
