Default the whole assembly. you cant remove it and replace it?

what does drilling mean? My key just turns through auxilary and doesnt start the car. I think I need a new lock cylinder

Default no, you just need a new switch... search the forum.. and remove your instrument cluster

you will see the answer

Default I have done a search... here's the deal:

right now my car will not come out of auxilary mode. the dash lights are on just like when you are about to start the car. I turn my key and nothing happens. I disconnect the switch and the auxilary mode shuts off. I'm thinking I need a whole new lock cylinder because something inside is causing the switch to act up.

Default try the switch first... it's cheap.. they always break so you can sell it if that's not the problem

the lock cylinder is a massive pain compared to the switch...

Default damn man... sucky... you need to drill the pin that holds it to the column out.

the pin can be replaced with a screw
