Default HOW MUCH is a 1995 Audi 90 worth???

found a really nice one with 2 owners exceptionally clean and carfax immaculate.

137k miles...sport package (it has that sport button on the steering wheel)
I thought it would look nice in my garage.
The dealer wants $4.100....

Any ideas what I should look for when I take it to my mechanic for a check out????

TIA

Default Overpriced like whoa

I have a 1994 Audi 90s which I paid last year $2500 for. It had 125,000 miles, immaculate interior, great paint, and really well taken care of. It is automatic though, but it is definatly not worth $4,300.

When you go with your mechanic, make sure you see if the timing belt has been changed, if there is any wiring problems, specifically if the lights turn on when you open the door. Check if the brakes are fine, the control arm bushings, and the power steering pump.

Default with a sport button it's definetely an auto/FWD...

if so, $4k is high. The 5-speed in these cars is a huge improvement over the auto.

Default Price seems high for a FWD auto 90s

I just got a '94 90CS quattro 5 spd in excellent condition w/ 134k for $3900. There are a few small imperfections in the paint, but the interior is immaculate and it has all the service records back to 46k miles at the end of the OEM warranty. The PO just did a lot of work too. New ball joint, 2 new tie rod ends, new front struts, new rear brakes and the timing belt was done only 25k ago at 109k.

I'd say the one you are looking at should be in the low to mid $3k range. Throw the seller an offer.

Default agreed but when did they mount that button on the "steering wheel?" I've only...

seen it at the base of the gear selector. And a 90S with "sport shifting" on an auto/FWD is not the "sport package" which to my knowledge was never available on any FWD Audi.

Default You could get '95 sports - same configuration as your '95 was stock...

...just no quattro. Had the body colored side moldings, sport wheels/suspension, jacquard sport seats, aux. gauges...but came in auto or manual.

No clue about the steering wheel though...maybe it's a secret button for NOS... ;o)
