Re: Need instructions on removing Original Stereo!!
The centre control panel is being hold by 4 screws on the for corners.2 behind the side air vents and 2 on the lower bottom sides, which you cannot see, only the holes are seen after you remove the cap from the 3 dials for the air and the A/C.after that, you cannot pull the consol, because you have all the buttons still in possition. You must disconnect all buttons(for fogs, alarm, rear fog etc,so that they wont be pulled together along with their plugs. You dont want to ruin those now!
Dont worry, each plug has its own color so you can easily recconect them afterwards. After removing the buttons, you will be able to push the stereo from the back in order to come out(although you may not have to do that yet.)
Finally the controls of the air and the vents are hold in position on the consol by 4 screws.Unscrew those and you have the control in your hands!Be careful and don pull the consol with the air controls still bolted on,cause firstly it wont come out, secondly you might damage something!
hope i helped!
