Default I love "Mothers" wax..

Default Mothers is great stuff, but you should try Meguiar's three step system
1.) Paint Cleaner
2.) Polish
3.) Wax

Default One problem with red cars... even with nearly fresh paint.... you will always get oxidation off..
I washed my red fox nearly every weekend last summer.... did all three steps of the meguiars... always ended up with nice red rags.

Default Oh, always, no matter how clean I keep the cab, every time I go
to wax her I get nothing but red rags, usually try to use red or white so I can bleach them afterwards.

Default I just tried some of the carnuba
wax only, no cleaner. Love it, got a strange tropical smell though. The whole shop smelled like the wax when I got done.

That's because Tornado Red does not have a clear coat.
