Default Identify this grill?

Hello,

Can anyone here help my to identify this grill? I found it in an ad, the owner says it's a rare one for an Audi 80, but I've never seen one like this before. Tbh it reminds me more of an american pickup truck's grill, but would be nice to see how it looks on an 80, if it really fits.

Thanks in advance!

If it really is for an Audi, then I believe the lights are the 165mm Hella/Bosch H1s and H4s, no idea about the turn indicators tho...

Didn't they make 80's in the 70's as well? That's what it looks like to me. Looks more like the grille on the '84 coupe quattro I saw in my local yard tho...

I was thinking the same, initially. But if you look at it, the signal indicator is on the side, not under the lights, and the gap in the middle looks bigger. Can be a rare variant of that tho, but again, I've never seen one like this before.

GOT IT! It's really a rare variant, but of the rally front, not the American 4 lamp front.

Huh. Never heard of it.
Nothing on that car looks like it's ready to stay together....
