I've got a slight lifter tapping noise (I think it is a lifter) when cold

it goes away after about 5-10 minutes or when the car gets warm. I'm not really concerned about it but is there any oil additive that might help? (It is a 20V CQ) TIA

Some have said that Mobil 1 10w-30 works well. I tried it - much quieter most of the time.

Unless you have lifter wear - the tapping is due to varish in the lifter

run a can of oil detergent. I have used that sucessfully to quiet lifters before. I would keep it in for a about 500 miles then drain the oil and replace with Mobil 1 like was recommended here.
