greens against blausport mount

size and shape is identical from the bottom

the height of greens is about 2mm higher than blau mount

width is the same, but blau mounts got indents

despite the green being dirtier (courtesy of meem) there is bigger metal ring in the blau mount exposed. the green only has 2m of metal ring while blau mount has about 5mm. can see in pic if looked closely. also there are 4 indents on the bottom of the blau mount while there is 8 indents on the green.

conclusion, blau mounts aren't the greens, but i have no urQ mount to compare with. the blau mount rubber is stiffer than the green, but the green is a bit taller. the rubber on the green is actually really freakin soft.

i donno which is better, if i get a urQ blue mount to compare with.............

The Greens are far better than Blaus. Yes all the observations you have shown are correct but the Blaus didn't last 6 months on my CQ.
My CQ is lowered and has a Bilstein/Boge shock combo with Intrax springs. The backs have Greens and the Blaus were up front. When I changed over to the Greens in the front the Blaus were heavily compressed. The bearing was ok but the rest of it was trashed.
So far the Greens are holding up very well thank you.

the post looked remarkably similar but I believe there was a third type of mount as well in MikTip's. I tried a search but couldn't find it. -Really just wanted to compare the 2 posts. I believe he agreed about the greenies.

Audi dealers and parts houses around the world will soon only carry the greens! They are an "improved" version of the older version.

Parts places have been told, use the green once others become exhausted.

So get use to the greens! They are better! ;O)
