Just got my coupe back from the painters........
I had the hood and bumper painted after converting to B4 hood and RS2 bumper. I'm a happy boy! Thanks again to snoogins and his sale of a Sierra bumper to me. Pix to come soon.
Now I need advice. I'm thinking of putting 3M vinyl protective shield sold by Griots Garage on the newly painted nose of my hood. I don't want to
have to paint it again. Although it took 10 years to get in that condition. How long should I wait before I put this thing on? Opinions please.

Check with your paint shop Panzer. I wouldn't put it on any time soon though...
...You need to let those solvents come out of the paint, and give it time to harden. If you throw it on now, I would think that it would retard that process. Your paint guys should know how long it'll take though. If not, call the paint company themselves.
