Default Just picked up a 90 CQ in Arizona...

I'm officially living in the 90s. LOL... As some of you may know i'm parting out the 03 Avant back to stock, sell it, and now i have 2 paid off Audis that i'm going to run with for a bit. This will probably be the DD. The UrS4, the "project" car... I can't wait to not have car payments!!

Dont call me crazy, call me delirious!!!

I actually had a chance to meet up with some friends out there and have brunch and coffee....so i'm not THAT crazy =)

90 Coupe Quattro, 5sp. EVERYTHING works but the rear wiper.

133, 560 original miles, body is STRAIGHT, carfax is clean, interior is above average. I got a WAAAY Better deal on this than my UrS4....

And here's the best part:
Phoenix to San Diego, 1 tank, with room to spare. Bear in mind, the first 4 hours of driving was in 105 to 112 degree heat. Had the AC running about half the time! Didn't reach sub 100 till i got into Alpine.

Default Very nice. Rear wiper is an easy fix, not surprising it doesn't work being an Arizona car...

The grease inside congeals after being baked in the sun for so long. Good writeup on how to fix it linked below.

How to fix your rear wiper...

Never seen that CQ around town. With the lack of tints it must be a recent transplant. Everything except the non glass sunroof in the interior points to 91 specs. Nice find.

Default I actually might not even bother fixing it....

Out of HS had an 87 Accord Hatchback i eventually took that off for a cleaner look. Never really bothered me. Even did that with my Avant. Easier to get away with that in sunny San Diego =)
