Default Little bit of luck and a little bit of bad luck.

Went out to the car to find out I don't have a parking ticket like I thought.

Went to fix my rear fog light but the new bolbs did not seem to work. Everything looked to be fine. Then I noticed my drivers side wiring had several busted wires. Guess thats the task for today. Along with MODing the MAF a little more if it dont rain to hard.

There are about 4-5 wires broke Why do all my rear lights still work fine. What do these wires go to. I am going to do a Search right now but I am not sure I will find what the wires go to. Also Bently is on order Scargo .

Those wires connect to the central locking systme and the dash lights? Something like that. Anyway I am not having any of these problems. Infact I havn't noticed any problems. And after looking at the wire it didnt just happen it had to of been this way for a good bit of time. Well I am going to fix it. Just odd I cant think of what problems I have had?

Default You might not have problems, the wires can still be brittle and work...

...play with/probe them and i'm sure you'll see funny things happen.

It blew my dash lights once (fuse)...or it wouldn't let me turn off the rear fog...or the license plate lights wouldn't come on. (this was in my '93, no problems in the '95, yet. *knocks on wood*)

I remember one B4 coming into the dealer that the owner had left the car running, went in his/her trunk to get something and when he/she closed it, it locked all the doors (and it was the middle of January too)!

Default Well then the wires have been cut for a long time. I couldn't get the rear fog light switch off

a quite a few times. Plus I recall my trunk locking once or twice after closing it when I didnt lock it. Anyway I was all but done with the rewiring today when I got caught in the rain. So I started on my other project. Oh yeah had problems with my rear license plate lights as well. Makes sense now thanks.
