Default Loss of power when engine is hot.

When my engine is cold it seems to be far more responsive and seems to pull harder than when it's hot while driving through rush hour traffic.

It is quite noticeable and is starting to bug me. Do the O2 sensors require replacing or is there something else wrong?

Maybe the temp sensor for the Engine Control Unit(ECU)?

How old are your spark plugs?

Try running a bottle of fuel injector cleaner through?

Is this temp sensor the same one that controls the gauge? If not where is it located?

Plugs have 11K miles on them now. About to replace them. Should I stick with the standard 3 probe ones or is there a better plug out there?

Will try the injector cleaner when I next fill up. Although I don't see how dirty injectors will affect the performance only when the engine is hot. Can you recommend any? I've seen STP and Wynns around.

Default The fuel injection cleaner you want is...

Chevron gas additive with Techron or Autobahn Gas Additive. The Autobahn stuff should be available at any VW/Audi dealership. The Chevron stuff you can get almost anywhere. Audi recommends using Techron additives and many people have had good results using it...

I have no idea where the temp sensor is for the ECU on the V6 engines. Sorry...

I resemble that remark. Your jealous my 0-60 time is so much bigger than yours (11 seconds).

You mean you'll get your 0-60 time up to 14-15 seconds? That's hairer than Nair. ;-)
