megasquirt!!!
hello,
I have recently been doing research on megasquirt for my 1990 80 quattro (10v na). What I need to know is how complicated and who has done it for a 5 cylinder. Any information is greatly appreciated. I am really excited to do this but need more information. thank you, blake

I have built the unit, (3 actually), I have yet to put it on (10v Turbo)...
...I would say that if you want a better fuel system, it is the easiest and cheapest you will find. Download and print out the manual and read it several times each time it becomes more clear.
I could be persuaded to build another unit if you don't want to deal with that part.

¥ÜM¥JÅG€R , be a real man and take that crap off below your picture poster...(more)
It wasn't needed for quattrospeed(not until he f's-up atleast) and it isn't needed for Skolnick. This is just a forum, no need to slander people like a kid. I'm not trying to be an asshat, just giving my opinion;-)

Iskolnick, who else would I be talking about?
Just my personal opinion on the matter. Doesn't mean you have to follow suite. I like the rest of your sig(S4 and Coupe grill) and other peoples sigs so I will keep the option on. I just don't see the point of posting a previous spat betwen you and Skolnick. Everyone already knows that you guys don't get along anyway. It just fuels the fire.

Like Cialowicz has said the power gains on a turbo motor are great...
...for those without, you can set it and forget about it.
I agree with what I think you are saying in that if you had a properly functioning CIS system and had no tuning (increased power) aspirations. There would be little use for it, CIS really does work well for what it was designed. It is when there is a problem or you want more power that it is limiting.
Oh, and the weight and space savings are big too :-)
