Is your car on eibach? If so was the 1" enough of a drop? What kind of shocks should I get for the drop. Standard size shocks, or does it need shortened shocks? Mine is FWD.

Re: Is your car on eibach?
Eibachs provide a more "quality ride" over the INTRAX springs. The intrax springs, provide the lowest ride height of all the springs.
This is probably why the INTRAX ride is not as good, because the car is lower, and often the springs are stiffer.
With all this, you have to decide? Ride comfort?
Or Lowest drop?
The only happy medium, is to go with "coil-overs".
As they allow you to adjust your ride height.
Personally I prefer the Bilstein shocks, because they have lasted the longest for me. I've actually worn out 3 sets of Boge's before I wore out a set of Bilsteins.
The Bilsteins provide a slightly stiffer ride over the Boge's, but are a much better shock.
Bilstein "Sport" shocks are shortened by 1" to be used with lower-stiffer springs.
Its recommended to get the Sports with aftermarket springs which lower your car. The increased spring rates are often too much for
OEM type shocks(Boge). Especially if you often
"test" your suspension. ;o)

Re: Miktip..
I have Intrax and Bilsteins on my CQ and I concur with your accessment of the setup. But I will disagree with what you say about ride comfort. My ride is comfortable and relaxing. But maybe it's because I have uprated UR-Q strut bearing installed on the front end. This is the setup of the S2 in Europe. Apparently the S2 uses this setup yearround and I have not heard of any complaints
anywhere with it.

CQ is a much different car from a 93 90!
You can really compare a "Euro" Coupe to a USA 90!
Your spring rates are very different.
Your "up-rated" Ur-Q strut bearings actually makes the ride more stiff!
What size tires are on your car? Large tyre side walls add to the comfort factor.
Many things to consider!

215-55-16 Pireelli. Just out of curiosity, does the sedan weigh more than the coupe? If so that could be a contributing factor too.
