Its almost as if the tank isnt releasing pressure? I went and got a new expansion tank cap but that didnt help any. The tank is staring to split down the side so its getting to the point that I need to figure out whats going on. The t-stats like 10k old but that doesnt say much. However, I am getting heat so I dont think the t-stat is to blame.

Cant quite figure out where the coolant is squeezing out of. It kind of look as thought the coolant is squeezing out of one of the hoses but I think thats false. But it also doesnt appear to be leaving any signs that its coming out of the top.

When I open the cap to let the pressure out the coolant fills up pretty high on the tank past the full point, but after it cools down its about 3/4 of an inch below the full line. I dont think there is air in the line the car doesnt overheat and I tried releasing air from the upper heater hose with the screw.

I am really lost as to whats going on maybe the coolant isnt circulating fast enough. I dont really know. To be honest though its really seems like it just isnt releasing pressure. The old cap was less then a half a year old and the new cap is brand new.
