New oil pump and timing belt--now it won't start!
Just replaced the oil pump and timing belt, etc. on a '93 90CS; now she won't start.
Could this be from using the crank holding tool? Or perhaps the CKS position sensor?
Fuel seems good, but no spark.
Note: I unplugged the spark plugs and cranked the engine for about ten seconds to get oil moving through the new pump and to make sure the timing was on. I then plugged them in, and nothing.
Also: I just bought this car. The day I picked it up it started and ran for just a second before I shut it down. (bad oil pump) The guy said it had been sitting for about a month. I have now had it for ~week.
Please help; this is supposed to be my girlfriend's car. I gotta get it goin' soon... or I'm gonna be a lonely s.o.b.! haha.

UPDATE!
Turns out, it WAS the CKS position sensor.
I also disconnected the battery in the pocess; perhaps that helped too.
I hope maybe this helps someone.
