mann oil filter V6
719/30 930/21 (96 A4)
a=2.99 a=3.66
b=2.44 b=same
c=2.8 c=same
h=4.84 h=4.49
g=3/4-16 g=same
2.5 bar bypass 3.0
conclusion:
the filter for the A4 is shorter but fatter with a 3.0 bar pressure for opening the bypass
threads are the same size/twist so there is no reason it would not seat or thread on.
the 2.8 should have plenty of pressure to open up the bypass
the 930/21 goes for about 10, 719/30 about 6
comments or is anybody using these right now on their 2.8?
have yet to look up mahle and do a x-check, sure they have their own version in the same sizes.
the standard mann has roughly 2-3mm more circumference then wix, pure one, etc.
for the same price of those buying online, no reason not to use the larger size.
034 115 561A or 06A 115 561B
also, 068 115 561B brings up OC51 which is the larger size, the other numbers show the old filter.
maybe sites just have not updated the picture.
078 115 561J brings up the 930/21 but also twice the price most likely just for the fact it was for the A4 although it works on any AFC/AAH.
OC264 looks to be the original standard size for the V6
