Default ok guys, I need some urgent help here... Coolant pipe w/ bleeder valve on it...

located on the back of the heads of the engine... is it the same b/n the AAH and AFC engine???? I'm assuming so since the heads are the same, etc... I just fooked mine up like a SOB trying to bleed my coolant system (still fuming here.... ) and need to make sure.

I got an AAH one off a 93/94 90 on its way from force5, but I just want to make sure it will fit otherwise I'm going to have to do some more leg work.

I know this isn't the exact forum to be asking this, but the 12v forum has been uber slow anymore and I need to know asap.

thanks guys!

Default I think it might be different because some cars had different coolant temp senders.

and thats where the coolant temp sender is located on the V6

Default ok, correct me if I'm wrong though, but don't all the coolant temp senders have the same

dia, and just different circuitry? That's how some people had different ECTs that didn't work in their engines... no?

I'm so pissed off right now aobut this I don't even want to look at the car right now. nothing can ever be easy, can it... <grumble grumble>

Default guess i'll find out in 2 days :(

Got the existing hard line out. Had to pull pretty much everything out...

Good thing I needed to do my valley pan gasket as well, and already have all the necessary gaskets for it!

I just can't believe how tight the bleeder screw was. In hindsight, I should have heated up the engine before draining the coolant... I think that's why that bleeder screw was so tight. I just broke it free with a pair of robogrips, and it was really in there. WTF would they use such a f'in soft bolt... I mean, seriously... how f'in stupid.

*sigh* Guess I can take my time on putting this thing back together now.......
