Painted my undercarriage last year with a paint thats popular....
in the UK. Checked it last nite and it still looks great. Needed a little touch-up here and there but overall it still looks as good as the day I put it on. "Hammerite" is what it's called and can
be bought at ACE hardware stores.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, I meant the suspension pieces....
the control arms etc. Anything that is not factory undercoated.
Even the fuel lines were painted with Hammerite.

How about a 12 year old car? Haha
My '91 90 - pearlcoat - I always hated the white (dingy) wheelwells. So I sprayed them with Rustoleum satin black. What a difference! Sets off the wheels better - and the pearlcoat. I wash the wheelwells whenever I wash the car. Has been almost three years - will touchup next spring.
