Default Please Help with knock off RS2 Bumper Mounting

Finally stripped my Bumper Down and would like to mount it the right way. Has anyone had any luck mounting Fiberglass knock off rs2 bumper on a 1993 us Audi 90 CS quattro ?
Any info or pics would be highly appreciated.

Looks like you need some reinforcement of some kind. Kinda saggy/wavy. The price of fiberglass.

Default Actually looks like a poor quality bumper. Fiberglass is more rigid than plastic so shouldn't sag.

That one is just plain not straight to begin with it seems. Mine doesn't sag like that.

Worldimpex has the OEM euro bumper mounting brackets at a good price, I paid $50 shipped for all 5 pieces. I'll dig up the part numbers if anyone wants them.

Default In that pic it's not mounted right...

It looks like it's jammed up under the lip of the top trim and the ends aren't being supported. The rebar in the center is causing it to push up, it looks like.

Try EBay.de they have brackets every so often. If anyone gets a set or is going to order a set, let me know and I may get a set too, and then I can reproduce them over on this side of the pond.

To be honest, I've been under the weather and haven't even been to the shop in over a month, but I'm on the mend and am going to start getting out more and get some of these unfinished projects done.

Default Re: brackets

Worldimpex.com can get you the brackets, as I posted below. Part numbers:
895 807 131 (x2)
895 807 139 (x2)
895 807 266F (x1)
I paid $50 shipped for all 5 brackets. They would be easy to duplicate, sure, but at that price I'll take the real-deal any day.

Default I wish I had a pic of the rebar I built for mine.

I have really hated trying to mount this thing, I refuse to just bracket it on and leave the front end unprotected. I'll get some pics some day, unfortunatly I just tossed everything in storage for the winter and am running the stock bumper till next summer.

Default $47 shipped

Although their website screwed up and I ended up having to re-enter the order by phone.

I'll post pics and document the install when I get them.

Don't be surprised if it takes a week or two to get them, they had to order them in from Europe when I bought mine because they weren't available through their normal channels over here. But they did so without a hiccup, kept me informed along the way, and didn't charge me any additional handling fees. All in all I was very impressed with their service.
