At this point I'd even go domestic
So installed my much anticipated 034 injector upgrade today and.......still all f'd up. Don't get me wrong, the injectors are the sex. The car runs smoother and I got +4mpg on the way home from the shop but my car still won't accelerate past 4000rpm without going into limp mode. I am sooooo sick of this car. With that said I'm off to the search function to maybe come up with some ideas.
my rant for the day.

You've probably read this already- if not here it is from the 20v site:
"Limp-Home" Mode
The first thing to do is check the fault codes. They should point you in the right direction. If they don't, or you need a quick fix on the road, there are some things to check. A fairly common cause of this is actually just a poor connection on the fuel pressure regulator, or the ground wire that comes out of that connector and attaches (usually) to the air accumulator on the intake manifold. The 20V is completely timed by the computer, so distributor placement doesn't have to be too exact. There is a big black connector that is a few inches in front of the distributor cap towards the front of the engine, this is the multipoint connector that has the O2 sensor, distributor controls, engine management etc on it. If that is half off or corroded/wet the car will act funny. Try taking that connector apart, cleaning it, and putting it back together. You might want to put in some anti-corrosion spray in there too.'
Also- Might want to check your fuel pump relay. The earlier cars had a cutout within the relay, maybe yours fried and was replaced with the wrong one at some point. Strange things happen with these cars. Does it do anything weird before going into limp mode? Misfire etc? Good luck.

well I started with a misfire
cyl #3 wasn't firing and upon closer inspection the injector was inop. So I ordered the 034 kit and installed that today. It runs smoother, and seems to get better gas mileage but I still get retarded timing.
I'm going to check codes tomorrow, hopefully. Its just too cold, rainy and windy to try and do it tonight
Oh and did I mention that I have no heat in the car anymore??? I'm SO not into Audis right now.
