Default Problems with my '95 90, I need some help please.

1 inch diameter black hose near firewall with screw/****? I had my hood open and it starting squirting fluid all over the place. I tightened up the screw to stop it. What does this hose do? It goes through the firewall, directly in the top/middle.

Also, my car is heasitating when I step on the gas. The idle also is unstable. I recently had my MAF and a cat replaced to supposedly fix this problem. Now the problem is back along with the rotten egg/fart smell. The ISV was checked out and its fine. I don't know what else could be causing this problem. Thanks for any info!

i had the exact same problem with hesitation and rough idle but my engine light also came on. Turned out to be an O2 sensor.
